Marcus Tan, Director, Commercial Development South Asia, accepted both awards recently in Singapore (Travel Weekly Asia’s Reader’s Choice Awards) and Bangkok (TTG Travel Hall of Fame Awards).

The TTG Hall of Fame Awards are given to outstanding organisations that have claimed the equivalent winning title for 10 or more consecutive years. Of the achievement, Mr Tan commented, “We’re thrilled to be the winners in our category. It is a testament to all that we have done to satisfy our customers’ needs in the past year. On behalf of Hertz, I would like to thank all those who voted for us and an especial acknowledgement to our valued customers who have supported and sustained us.”

Hertz also received the honour of ‘Best Car Rental’ company at the second annual Travel Weekly Reader’s Choice Awards, which recognised 45 winners across 12 categories within the travel sector. This is the second consecutive year that Hertz has been named the leading car rental operator at these renowned awards.

“Both of these wins truly reaffirm our position as the leading car rental operator in Asia-Pacific,” said Eoin MacNeill, Vice President for Hertz APAC. “This success would not be possible without the continued endorsement from our TTG and Travel Weekly peers. Hertz would like to thank each and every one for their vital ongoing support,” Mr MacNeill concluded.

The TTG Travel Hall of Fame and Travel Weekly Reader’s Choice Awards are renowned for acknowledging outstanding organisations and their contributions to the travel industry across the Asia-Pacific. The awards are voted for by the TTG and Travel Weekly membership base.
