Health2Sync Strategically Partners with Taiwan’s Ministry of Health and Welfare in Asia’s First Government Supported Online Diabetes Care Program

TAIPEI, Taiwan /PRNewswire/ –Taiwanese startup Health2Sync announced their strategic partnership with Taiwan’s Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) in bringing online diabetes care nation-wide.

Since September 2016, MOHW and Health2Sync together have enabled more than 30 hospitals and clinics to provide real-time tracking and immediate feedback to patients. Health2Sync’s hardware-agnostic software reduces the cost and time to administer remote diabetes care significantly, enabling diabetes care to scale quickly and effectively.

While Taiwan has been viewed as having comprehensive social health coverage, diabetes and its complications have always been costly to Taiwan’s National Health Insurance. By using Health2Sync’s industry-leading Patient Management Platform and automated care functionality, care providers can support patients to effectively control diabetes on a large scale, and benefit the overall health system as well through reduced hospital visits and related expenditures. An initiative by ONE15 Marina Sentosa Cove Singapore, the ONE15 Christmas Boat Light Parade™ showcases the Club’s commitment to growing the yachting lifestyle in Singapore. The parade will see a flotilla of approximately 25 boats and will attempt to enter the Singapore book of records ( as the “Largest Parade of Decorated Boats”.

During the parade, parade boats will be decked in festive lights and decorations and set sail towards the Sentosa Boardwalk, passing by many landmarks on Sentosa Island, including Siloso Beach, Fort Siloso and Resorts World Sentosa before reaching Sentosa Boardwalk, in front of Harbourfront and Vivo City where the judging will take place.

One boat from each of the six categories with the most original and creative decoration based on the theme will win attractive cash prizes totalling over $18,000.

Asia’s first Elevator World Tour culminates with Hong Kong-based start-up taking home US$120,000 in investment

Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (“HKSTP”), in partnership with STARTUPFEST, concluded the first Asia stop of the Elevator World Tour™ on 13 October at Hong Kong’s tallest skyscraper, the International Commerce Centre (“ICC”). Unfazed by height and the three rounds of competitive pitching, Orii, a wireless audible solutions start-up from Hong Kong was chosen the winner by a panel of 12 professional investors and took away US$120K investment funding to develop the presented ideas into a full-fledged business.

Graded as a Grade II historic building by Hong Kong Antiquities Advisory Board in 2010, the 114-year-old colonial architecture had been transformed successfully from the Old Tai O Police Station to a nine-room heritage boutique hotel surrounded by lush greenery.

Tai O Heritage Hotel Hong Kong has dedicated effort to both hardware conservation led by architectural consultants, interior designers and landscape experts to conserve extensively the Old Tai O Police Station’s original architecture and significance, as well as the software conservation by engaging the Hong Kong community, overseas travellers, conservation enthusiasts harmoniously at large while enhancing social and economic opportunities provided by the conserved heritage boutique hotel.
