Local employee benefits start-up gains global presence

Rewardz establishes partnerships and joint ventures with companies from Australia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, South America and more to come

SINGAPORE /PRNewswire/ — Corporate perks management service Rewardz has taken its corporate health and fitness platform Flabuless out of beta and straight into global markets.

For the past two years, the technology start-up with a strong leaning on the human resource industry has taken on more than 30 clients, including Courts, Crocs, DB Schenker, Fuji Xerox, IHG and the National UniversityHealthcare System (NUHS) with their flagship EmPerks corporate perks platform.

The company’s organic growth has resulted in a stronger than expected annual revenue growth of about 400% since the company’s inception in October 2012. “Rewardz is currently benefiting over 20,000 employees,” says Rewardz CEO Sudhanshu Tewari. “As the company refines its EmPerks and Flabuless product lines, we will continue to expand regionally with a target of over 200,000 employees by 2016.”

Targeting business owners looking to provide employees with a more comprehensive staff benefits system, EmPerks is Rewardz’s flagship online and mobile app that provides employees with corporate privileges in areas such as health, food and beverage, and lifestyle.

Its sister corporate fitness lifestyle program, Flabuless, encourages employees to keep fit by rewarding them with incentives, seamlessly syncing with popular fitness devices such as RunKeeper and Fitbit for a better experience. Rewardz has recently taken Flabuless out of beta, and the program has since been launched as a full-blown mobile app.

Rewardz has now put both its EmPerks and Flabuless products on the global map as well, having established joint ventures and strategic partnerships with several regional organisations including Total Loyalty in Hong Kong, Actevo in Australia, and even Peruvian-based Pideunesco.
