Turnkey solutions support marketing plans, generate awareness, drive consideration, establish credibility and, in turn, generate business

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Feb. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Marketing executives are constantly searching for new ways to attract, engage and convert prospects into customers at an accelerated rate. Frost & Sullivan’s IMS partners with your team to improve upon your content marketing strategy, public relations campaigns and thought leadership to help extend your reach via channels such as whitepapers, eBulletins, market resources, and other key tools.
Consideration – When customers are shopping for a product or service, it is imperative to connect with them to ensure your solutions are part of their consideration. Utilizing a mix of marketing strategies and an integrated approach, from eBroadcasts to our Executive MindXchange event series, Frost & Sullivan can connect your sales team with your target prospects, in their consideration phase.
Credibility – When potential clients are considering products, they may discount a brand because they don’t have enough information to view the company as trustworthy. By partnering with Frost & Sullivan and utilizing unique tools like spotlight videos and virtual think tanks, you benefit from Frost & Sullivan’s more than 50 years of research credibility to build trust in your products and services.
Evaluation – Everyone likes to try before they buy. Prepared companies take this opportunity to demonstrate the value of their solution, and show prospects how it stacks up against the competition. Frost & Sullivan can help with the demonstration process via channels such as road shows, sponsorship of our Executive MindXchange events, and our Executive Think Tank Dinner Series.

Once you convert the prospect, your work is far from done. It has only just begun and customer marketing begins. Leveraged wisely, happy clients are valuable assets. They can provide references and a greater level of credibility. Frost & Sullivan created unique marketing channels to help you develop and promote your powerful influencers – your clients. Pulse Clean: Best Selling Anti-Radiation Brand from Japan Arrives on the Shore

leave a comment »

Wide range of negative ions products to improve general health and wellness associated with electromagnetic radiation exposure.
SINGAPORE, Feb. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — There are billions of mobile devices in the world — mobile phones, tablets and laptops. Most of us own more than one of these devices, leaving us constantly exposed to electromagnetic radiation (also known as EMR). Now imagine the amount of exposure when these mobile devices are with us 24/7, whether we are commuting, working or resting.
According to researchers, one of the harmful effects of EMR is the disruption of ionic balance in the atmosphere. Studies have found that in natural settings (e.g. forests, waterfalls), there is a balance of both positive and negative ions in the atmosphere. However, in modern settings such as offices, a far greater proportion of positive ions are measured. The presence of EMR in modern environment can deplete negative ions, which are highly beneficial to health and well-being.
The general consensus is that a high concentration of positive ions in the atmosphere will leave us feeling depressed, lethargic and full of aches. On the contrary, a high concentration of negative ions will improve energy, immune system and blood circulation. This is why some of us get headaches, migraines or eyestrains when we are working in offices and indoor areas, but immediately feel better once we take a breather outside.
Conceived to increase negative ions intake, Pulse Clean can be attached to mobile devices and home appliances easily. The constant generation of negative ions helps to provide a balance of both positive and negative ions in the environment. This is especially essential for those who work in enclosed or air-conditioned environment.
Pulse Clean is developed in Japan using tourmaline, a semi-precious gemstone that naturally emits negative ions. In 1997, this innovative product was awarded the “Gold International Award” in an invention convention held in the United States. In addition, its proprietary tourmaline processing technology was granted patent (Patent no.: US5945051) in 1999. Today, Pulse Clean has been selling well over 15 years with international sales to various countries, making it an excellent gift for friends and family.
About Pulse Clean Singapore
Pulse Clean Singapore is a brand and online store operating under Anion Trading, a trading company based in Singapore. Recently launched in late 2013, Pulse Clean Singapore provides worldwide shipping for its customers to allow more people to alleviate the effects of EMR and lead a healthier life. To make Pulse Clean more accessible, Anion Trading is also looking for retail partners to carry Pulse Clean range of products. For more information, please visit http://www.pulsecleansingapore.com.

SALZBURG, Austria, Feb. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ —

Austria is category winner with unique algae cultivation
The Energy Globe World Award goes to Nicaragua! With a happy “Muchas Gracias” Martha Veronica Rocha received the 13 kg bronze statue for her organization FUPROSOMUNIC in the studio of the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation Salzburg. Salzburg Governor Wilfried Haslauer, Mayor Heinz Schaden, Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church Peter Turkson and Energy Globe Founder Wolfgang Neumann presented the award. Austria also excelled as a category winner in “Fire.” Wolfgang Neumann: “These projects are a strong signal – they show the world that our environmental problems can be solved”.

The Nicaraguan project, also winner in category “Air”, was the favorite for the International Jury. It combines environmental protection with social commitment. The protagonists of the Solar Project Foundation for Nicaraguan Woman (FUPROSOMUNIC) build solar ovens for cooking and drying fruits and vegetables and market the products. A total of 700 “Solar Women” train other women, propagate their knowledge at trade shows, prevent health problems, deforestation, promote clean energy and create jobs, education and prosperity.
The Austrian company ecoduna Produktions AG won in the “Fire” category with a unique algae cultivation process. In photovoltaic reactors they grow algae, from which valuable oils and bio fuels are obtained. The process is extremely energy efficient and sustainable.
The U.S. company Ecovative Design LLC made it in category “Earth”. In a highly energy efficient process fungi produce 100 % compostable packaging, which are even edible and – disposed of in the garden – serve as fertilizers for plants.
United Kingdom won the category “Water” prize: the British designer Francesca Mancini developed a simple construction for households to directly use gray water from showers and sinks for flushing toilets – so enormous amounts of water can be saved.
The Cyprus NGO “Cans for Kids” won the race in category “Youth”. In voluntary work young people collect aluminum cans, press and sell them. The proceeds are donated to a children’s hospital. 260,000 Euros have been already raised.
The ceremony was organized jointly with the Regional Government and the City of Salzburg, The Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF) Salzburg and the Federal Austrian Chamber of Commerce. The Energy Globe Award is – with over 160 participating countries and more than 1000 submissions annually – the world’s largest environmental prize. More on http://www.energyglobe.info. Cisco and AGT Form a Smart City Global Strategic Alliance to Transform the Way Cities Are Managed and Secured

leave a comment »

— City Solutions Bring the Internet of Everything to Life
NEW YORK, Feb. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Cisco, the worldwide leader in IT, and AGT International, a global leader in city solutions, today announced a Smart City Global Strategic Alliance that will deliver the promise of the Internet of Everything (IoE) through edge analytics and cloud technologies that dramatically change the way cities are managed and safeguarded.
(Logo: http://photos.prnewswire.com/prnh/20140205/DC59194LOGO-a)
(Logo: http://photos.prnewswire.com/prnh/20140205/DC59194LOGO-b)
The combination of intelligent networking, virtualized computing and video management software from Cisco and smart city software platform, sensor gateway and analytics from AGT will provide cost-effective and efficient delivery of services that enhance the daily lives of citizens and improve urban services – from transportation and healthcare to utilities infrastructure and disaster preparedness and personal safety.
Wim Elfrink, executive vice president, Industry Solutions and Chief Globalisation Officer, Cisco, said: “Today, 99 percent of the physical world is not connected to the Internet. However, cities are the epicenter of the Internet of Everything, where people, things, data and processes can be connected to deliver new and amazing value. Think about the possibilities. It is a vision we can realize today through the unique combination of Cisco’s unparalleled networking and computing technology and AGT’s cutting-edge smart cities platform. With its recognized leadership in software and analytical solutions that improve everyday life, AGT is an ideal partner to transform city management.”
Mati Kochavi, CEO, AGT, said: “The Cisco and AGT alliance brings a holistic view of urban ecosystems, which are being challenged by dramatic growth and limited resources. The opportunity stems from integrating information from the Internet of Everything and leveraging data in new ways. The Internet of Everything will transform the cities of today into the great cities of tomorrow by enabling solutions that help manage growth and serve citizens better. Through this alliance, Cisco and AGT will realize a vision of unlocking the vast potential of urban centers around the world. We will enable cities to anticipate and prevent threats to citizens and property; make life more efficient, safe and enjoyable; and truly make our cities sustainable.”
Rob Lloyd, president, Development and Sales, Cisco, said: “The Cisco and AGT alliance is more than simply an agreement to collaborate. Cisco and AGT are in the unique position to lead the development of city cloud solutions. By combining advanced technologies with a deep understanding of the changing needs of cities, we can transform the delivery of city services.”
Ruthbea Yesner Clarke, global research director, IDC’s Smart Cities Strategies program, said: “Smart Cities are a future reality for municipalities around the world. These cities will use the power of ubiquitous communication networks, highly distributed wireless sensor technology and intelligent management systems to solve current and future challenges and create exciting new services.”
Built around AGT’s state-of-the-art urban management platform, the solution applies multiple sensing and analytical technologies such as video and acoustic analytics, social media engagement, license plate recognition, facial recognition, mobile crowd sourcing, mobile applications for city civil workers, smart waste and other sources. AGT’s city fusion platform, powered by Cisco Unified Computing System™ technology, uses big data analysis to reduce false alerts while increasing incident detection rates. Sharing a common platform, infrastructure and management allows agencies to be more efficient and cost-effective, especially when coping with decreasing budgets. These benefits can all be achieved in a decentralized city administration model, where agencies’ autonomy is maintained while sharing and reuse is maximized.
Solutions that change the game for cities
The first solutions will be available mid-2014 and will initially focus on two key areas:
A traffic management solution that will identify, respond to and resolve traffic incidents by providing real-time traffic situational awareness will support incident detection using live video feeds from incident zones, with video analytics, in-pavement wireless magnetic sensors, license plate readers, social media and advanced traffic modeling prediction and alternative strategy formulation. The system supports video feed sharing across different agencies and provides analytics of incident trends over time. This solution addresses a global problem; traffic congestion costs $121 billion a year in wasted time and fuel in the U.S. alone, according to the Texas A&M Transportation Institute.
An urban safety solution enables cities to predict, prepare for, respond to and mitigate operational and safety incidents by identifying suspicious activities more quickly. Incidents will be managed through software that utilizes a variety of sensors, city data, and visual and social media feeds. The solution will apply analytics to automate and visualize the situation and recommend the appropriate response.
Future solutions to be developed and launched will address city and country critical infrastructure, such as airports, railway stations and stadiums.
The Cisco and AGT offering will initially be provided on-premise and will evolve to a cloud-based “Software as a Service” model. These models are customizable and flexible to support a variety of customer needs and budgets. As part of this agreement, AGT has selected Cisco as its cloud provider for its city cloud solutions.
To execute these solutions, AGT and Cisco will integrate Cisco® VSM video management technology and support Cisco’s leading range of cameras with AGT’s city platform, creating highly scalable integrated solutions supporting hundreds of thousands of sensors in one system. The alliance has a roadmap of integration between the two companies that will be delivered over time, and the companies will build research and development labs to test integrated solutions to support customers.
“Cities are growing at the rate of 10,000 people per hour,” Elfrink said. “But through the Internet of Everything and advanced analytics, we can transform that challenge into an opportunity to revolutionize urban living.”
Kochavi added, “This is about creating a safer and more prosperous world, not for a few but for everyone.”

BARCELONA, Spain /PRNewswire/ — Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) have announced today that they will be exclusively providing the official travel agent training programme at the Seatrade Med Cruise Convention taking place in Barcelona this September.
Hundreds of travel agents from across Spain will be attending the tenth edition of Seatrade Med to participate in the bespoke training programme, aimed at both sales and customer service staff at travel agencies in the region.
The one-day training programme will look at the principles of professional selling, how to deliver great customer service, clever ways to close the sale and relationship management. This will be complemented by a ship visit the following day, to give the agents a full 360-degree view of the industry.
As well as participating in the training, the agents will have the opportunity to visit the exhibition, including the destination pavilions and the brand new cruise line exhibitor zone.
The 2014 Seatrade Med travel agent training programme is fully supported by ACAVE, an association comprising of more than 500 travel agencies across Barcelona and Spain.
With recent figures from the Port of Barcelona showing that 2.6 million passengers visited the port in 2013, with 835 cruise ship calls, this is an ideal time for travel agents in the region to be involved in the training at Seatrade Med.
