Hyundai infotainment strategy includes NAVTEQ(R) Map data

Navigation business development supported with innovative content and marketing programmes

CHICAGO, Sept. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Nokia today announced that its Location & Commerce business is supplying NAVTEQ® Maps to Hyundai Motors Corporation for its new head units. In addition to global map data, Nokia Location & Commerce will also provide Hyundai with technical support and customised marketing programmes designed to increase navigation business. Hyundai drivers will benefit from a more advanced system offering additional visual and safety content.


Nokia Location & Commerce has a specialist team dedicated to working with customers to develop navigation take rates and map update business through education, motivation, promotion and communication. It offers support in strengthening bespoke marketing strategies, expanding commercial campaigns and rolling out new products.
